OK, today is the day we kept picking our jaws up! The views from west Maui are truly becoming of PARADISE!We drove up the coast to Kaanapali and spent some time just following our destiny (meaning we had no idea where we were going.) If we felt like taking a road, we did. As you can see it paid off.
We decided that Hawaiians are not your typical Americans... much calmer and oh so friendly. We compare them to Maritimers. I guess it is the beat of the ocean that does it.
We had a late lunch at a little place called Mama's near a beach (Napili) and had some great chicken and ribs. Came back to the condo in late afternoon for a quick clean up and a change into our finest and then headed back west to Lahaina to see a Cirque de Soleil type show about Hawaii "Ulalena". What a great show!
Well we are truly wild guys tonight since it is now after 10:00 p.m. and we are still up.

Happy Canada Day! Just got back from downtown and the fireworks, lots of people, cloudy, but at least no rain. Greg Roger Robert John Remy Terry Vic Frank and I walked down from Vic's. Kent is visting, but he was watching from Riverview with Mike and Rob. Know you're having a great time, remember to take time to relax. Will write again soon. Bob
